Civility and Professionalism Month Roundtable: Come Together. Be Heard. Make Change.

WE ARE RESCHEDULING THIS EVENT — a new date will be announced soon.

Are you frustrated and exhausted by incivility in the legal profession?  Personal hostility, rudeness, and bullying between lawyers affect individual well-being and diminish the standing of the legal profession. To advance the LCL mission and “elevate the standing of the legal profession,” we invite members of the legal profession to join us for lunch and conversation on March 11, 2020, to investigate incivility in our profession and discover options for change.

March is Civility and Professionalism month. Together, we will find ways to deal with conflict and keep civility alive. Together, we will find our voices and learn to use them to stop excessive, unnecessary, unproductive, and unprofessional conflict.

Whether you’ve been on the receiving end or have witnessed it –

Whether you’ve seen it inside the courtroom or elsewhere –

Whether we call it incivility, hostility, or bullying –

We need to come together solve this serious problem in the legal profession.
